Robin W is an ultra-wide field-of-view (FOV) lidar sensor developed by Seyond, offering a 120° horizontal by 70° vertical FOV. It provides a detection range from 0.1 meters up to 150 meters, with a range of 70 meters at 10% reflectivity, which is twice the detection range of other side-view lidar sensors. The sensor delivers image-grade resolution up to 0.15° horizontally and 0.36° vertically, capturing over 1.28 million points per second. Its compact design allows for seamless integration into vehicle components such as side wings and bumpers, making it ideal for applications in automotive (AD/ADAS), robotics, intelligent transportation systems, and smart infrastructure.
