Leo Drive full-stack solution designed to operate and has been rigorously tested and proven in demanding factory settings with dump trucks, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Central to our system is the Safety ECU, which guarantees the safety through redundancy mechanisms. By incorporating multiple layers of fail-safes and backups, we ensure continuous operation and emergency maneuvers even in the face of unexpected challenges, maintaining the safety standards for an operational factory environment.
Our localization stack is a key differentiator, combining the reliability of NDT (Normal Distributions Transform) Scan Matcher with the accuracy of RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) GPS and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) data fusion. This hybrid approach ensures robust and accurate vehicle positioning, even in the most challenging open area and GNSS obstructed environments. In addition to this, our perception system leverages state-of-the-art deep neural networks (DNNs) to process data from cameras, radars and Lidars simultaneously. This multi-modal perception framework allows our vehicles to navigate complex terrains and dynamic environments with other road users and machinery with precision and reliability.
